For the past year, I have been recovering from Plantar Fasciitis, Tendonitis and a muscle strain from my big toe to my heel. I like to run…okay I love to run. Most days, I think to myself, I am going to do some other sort of exercise besides running. While I am weighing all of my options and trying to decide on the perfect alternative, I head out for a run. Because of this insane commitment to running, I ended up injuring myself. On a long run last spring, I started experiencing terrible heel pain. It felt like a nail was being hammered into the middle of my heel. I had no idea what was wrong with my foot.
I went online and was able to use medical resources to pinpoint what was going on. I visited a few doctors and based on my online research was able to understand what they were diagnosing and what steps would be taken to get me back to running.
